DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: \nThis is a reminder message of the upcoming 1st annual Ottawa Valley Auction – Saturday Jan. 21st.. \n\nThe auction is at the St John the Evangelist Hall in Enniskerry.\n2540 Stagecoach Rd\, Osgoode\, ON K0A 2W0\nThe auction setup will be at 0900.\nThe auction will start at approx. 1000.\nIt will be a live auction with 2 auctioneers to keep things moving along.\nUpon a sale\, the seller and buyer will meet at the payment table.\nARCC will keep 10% of the sale amount.  Cash is preferred.  E-Transfers will be accepted.\nSellers will be allowed to set a reserve bid price on larger items.\nThere will be a 50/50 draw at the end of the auction.\nWe will have coffee and water for a nominal fee.\nPLEASE BRING A LUNCH.\nWe expect a large number of attendees – but we can’t predict.  The hall has chairs and tables.  If you have a folding chair\, perhaps bring it in your vehicle just in case.\nWe will start with small items and work our way up to the larger items.\n\nWe look forward to seeing you. \nThe ARCC \n———————————– \n  \nSave the date for the 1st Annual Ottawa Valley RC Auction. \nWe have secured a location for the auction on January 21\, 2023. SUMMARY:2024 Spring Cleanup and Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Hi Everyone\, \n\nThe spring cleanup and meeting  will take place Sat April 20th with the rain date April 27th. I was at the field yesterday morning and it seems to be in very good shape although the access road is still very soft in places\, so it would be best to stay off for another week or more depending on the rain we get.\n\nThe work that needs to be done is the same in most years past.\n\n1) General cleanup of the area\n2) Installation of new catch fencing along the runway\n3) Some general work along the road to ensure that brush is pushed away\, potholes filled in.\n\nSo we need shovels\, rakes and  possibly a chainsaw.\nThe work begins at 0900\, when the work is done we will have a bbq lunch and general meeting then the most important event of the day – flying.\n\nCheers\nThe Exec.
