DESCRIPTION:The Arnprior Radio Control Club is hosting the 3rd Annual Huckin’ In the Valley for all of you guys out there who love to “Huck Around” with your aerobatic model. Come join us for lots 3D fun\, participate in the famed “Cluster Huck”\, and other shenanigans at the club’s large grass field nestled in the idyllic forests of eastern Ontario. Plan to stay for dinner featuring a number of surprise delicacies – all made “Arnprior Style”.  Later\, we’ll put on the lights for some night time 3D fun! \nWe have loads of space for campers and RVs of all sizes (no hook ups) and club members will be on hand to welcome arriving participants on Friday May 27 for test flights and general warm up Tom-foolery.  Early arrivals are welcome! \nVisit the event website for details\, registration\, and t-shirt orders. www.huckininthevalley.com.

SUMMARY:Giant Scale Warm-Up
DESCRIPTION:This is our 11th annual Giant Scale Warm-Up an what a better way to start your year than to have a relaxed day of flying your new or tried-and-true Giant Scale plane. Our 800 foot grass strip field with the sun at your back and sheltered pilot area is the best way to tune up your flying skills or maybe share some helpful tips with others for their first flights. As always\, there will be a BBQ lunch available as well as a few prizes at the end of the day. \nWhat qualifies as Giant Scale: Monoplane of 80” or greater Biplane of 60” or greater Jets of 140” combined length and wingspan or greater Any plane that is 1/4 scale or greater. For example\, many aerobatic planes like Yaks and Extras of 72” would also qualify. \nAlso check out www.GiantScaleCanada.com for more information \nSpectators are always welcome.

DESCRIPTION:We have reservations at 3 Brewers Pub in Kanata ( centrum ) at 6:30 pm on Friday February 2.  It has been well attended the last 2 years. Its a great way to get caught up with everyone and see what we have been building\, repairing and refurbing for next flying season.
