Founded in 1978 this small but active club has grown to over 60 members but still retains a friendly, simple approach to its flying and operation.

The Field:

The ARCC boasts an 800 ft grass strip with wide open surrounding fields for recovery of any errant aircraft. Permanent shelters, spacious pit area and ample parking make it make the field popular with all types and sizes of models. The glider enthusiasts and giant scale flyers in particular enjoy the large flying area.

Flying:

You will find members flying every weekend the weather permits. Also, many members escape the office tedium on good weekdays for informal flying sessions and an impromptu ‘potluck’ barbeque.

Training:

Wednesday evenings are ‘training nights’ at the field. Check out our “Training” section.

Meetings:

The ARCC holds meetings twice a year at the field. Members come with tools and shovels and do maintenance on the field before a barbeque lunch and a brief business meeting.

Membership Dues

Dues are currently $75. Per year. See “Join the Club
