The spring cleanup and meeting  will take place Sat April 20th with the rain date April 27th. I was at the field yesterday morning and it seems to be in very good shape although the access road is still very soft in places, so it would be best to stay off for another week or more depending on the rain we get.

The work that needs to be done is the same in most years past.

1) General cleanup of the area

2) Installation of new catch fencing along the runway

3) Some general work along the road to ensure that brush is pushed away, potholes filled in.

So we need shovels, rakes and  possibly a chainsaw.

The work begins at 0900, when the work is done we will have a bbq lunch and general meeting then the most important event of the day – flying.
